I almost got gogoplata'd in training. It was "on" too, surprised the heck out of me and I was just able to wriggle out of it.

I had a GOOD chance at one in my first ever match, back when I was a white belt. I missed the detail of using the other leg across my opponent's back. The guy just backed out my guard. Not really something I set-up, but while we were rolling, the opportunity presented itself.

Nick Diaz beat Gomi and then the win was taken away because of some b.s. Pothead

Someone just made a HL of almost every gogoplata in MMA history. There were actually a lot. At least a dozen.

Really strange, there are probably more gogoplata wins than omoplata wins...

i did :p First ever no-gi tournament match. Its the kinda thing you only catch someone with once, cos they never see it coming. Once its expected, its very easy to defend

In training or in tournaments? Because I find in training the mounted gogo is an effective transitional move/finisher. I've never hit in a tournament setting, but I'll be sure to record it if I do.
