Why? Eddie still managed to get Conor against the cage plenty of times. If Eddie had Khabibs TDs, clinch work and grappling, he would have likely won easy

It took Eddie til the second round to get a hold of Conor to press him to the cage once.

In the first he tried to clinch and was shrugged off.

Eddie got pieced up almost every time he tried to close the distance against Conor.
