No. Because with the tools and background Tank had (Junior All American Wrestler and street Boxer) along with being involved with a more developed MMA camp which is a must today compared to the MMA of the past, he would had probably been able to at least be a gatekeeper along the lines of Kongo or Herring. It all depended on how dedicated he was to his training and dieting, which was clearly his downfall in further advancing as a MMA fighter in the 90s like Couture, Belfort, Frye and Coleman were able to do.
