Which is the harder fight for Jon Jones? People say that a win vs Stipe for the HW belt is better legacy-wise for Jon Jones...but is a win vs Izzy at LHW harder?

Stipe, Izzy would be stepping into LHW, where Jones is comfortable. That's his comfort zone. But he would be stepping up at a weight he doesn't fight at with HW.
but too counter that, izzy would be harder to win against then stipe imo.

Agree 100%
Add to that stylistically he has more advantages against Izzy imo. His striking/chin/and striking defense is good enough to negate Izzys best attributes and Jones is worlds better in the clinch and wrestling department.

Stipe would be the tougher challenge.

But Jones' at LHW hasn't looked as strong as before so Izzy probably could lite him up on the feet even more if he can't threaten enough with his takedowns and clinch control.

Size matters more when you are grappling rather than striking but with Jones' lack of grappling recently, maybe Izzy would be the tougher fight.

He rules a division 20lbs heavier, while Stipe isnt the biggest of the HW's, there is something about a true HW that makes LHW's take the weight cut instead, thats the harder fight, Adesanya is a great fighter, but there are many aspects of the game where Jones is great, not just one.

Stipe would be the harder fight for a variety of reasons. The biggest being the size differences between Adesanya and Stipe. The difference in power would be huge as well.

A few years ago I would have said Stipe. I think Stipe is either number 1 or 2 in the HW GOAT talk but he is almost 40. I have to believe hes starting to slow down.

With that said Jones wouldnt be able to bully Stipe in the clinch or otherwise. He can probably do that to Adesayna.

Read the title as "Harder fight for Jizzy"

I'm gonna have to reffering to the Jones vs Izzy fight as that.

Joanna could take out Stipe no problem but Izzy may give her some problems.

I’m not really sure here... but maybe the guy who can brutally send you to the shadow realm with one well placed connection, hint it’s not the MW guy...
<{you!}>
I think Izzy would destroy Stipe if he was able to bulk up to like 215 even.

Technically they are on different stratosphere’s in the striking dept.

Stipe at HW. If Jones is able to take Izzy down its an easy win for JJ. Standing its 50/50

Size matters more in grappling than striking? Is that why Royce Gracie beat giants using bjj? Marcelo Garcia? Is that why there's a weight class every 5 pounds in boxing?

Stipe because wrestling and JJ will gas at HW.

We know Stipe is great at HW

We dont know jack about izzy at LHW, we just assume he will be good.

^ you clearly never practiced before.

Royce situation was more of a lack of knowledge of BJJ defense.
No 170lb BJJ expert today can beat a top 10 UFC HW.

Welcome to 2020 buddy ... try out these "new" portable phones we call smartphones. It's like a PC in your pocket. You got a lot of catching up to do.

Stipe, although neither are easy imo. Both opponents are dangerous for Jon striking. Jones isn't going to KO anybody and Izzy can pick Jon apart as the far more technical striker. Stipe has one-punch stopping power. Jon doesn't have an insane reach advantage in either fight. Good chance he loses standing to either, so it just boils down to the fact that there is a better chance Jon can take Izzy down and control him. Idk how either fight would play out and would love to see them both. Physically imposing the size advantage grappling with Izzy seems like the path of least resistance though.
