I keep searching highly rated films and tv shows to watch and whenever I watch them, they end up being mediocre but revolving around SJW topics like race and feminism. I have no problem with either topic, but its apparent that theyre outshining the actual quality of the film and story. Tried watching handmaid's tale. saw it was a 95% on Rotten Toms. It was really just eye roll- worthy. like a SJW's reddit fiction story:

So a chick is married to a black guy, but the police shoot him and take her away to live as a slave to rich white christian man, because they live in a world where most women cant reproduce due to using too much birth control and plan B, so the rare ones that still can are sex slaves to the elite white male christians who force them to breed and be docile

It was so hard to take this seriously. is there any website that holds credibility when it comes to recommending TV shows?

I didn't mind season one, season 2 two I really got the SJW vibe, but mostly it got boring. Turns out the handmaids mom was a lesbian ultra feminist.

Why is "SJW" brought up as a negative thing on sherdog? I've never actually met anyone in real life who is against movies/television exploring race and women's issues. Margaret Atwood is an overrated writer. She wrote a few pretty good books, but when she gets her preach on, they can be pretty insufferable. Handmaid's Tale is an example of that - just bad fiction. I haven't seen the TV show. Not interested.
