"Maryland cop" why am I not surprised?

Even if the dude managed to get his seatbelt off and started trying to headbutt the officer or bite him or whatever, the officer could have literally just stepped out of the car and reassessed what his dumb as reasoning for buckling a drugged up criminal in the front seat was.

Just try it yourself if you have a car. It’s incredibly easy, even if you keep your wrists stuck to one another. The cuffs give about three inches between the wrists.

To slip the cuffs from behind to the front is admittedly harder. You need to be thin or flexible to do it but it’s also not uncommon.

i don't think i have ever got into an Uber when its just me riding and not got in the front seat. No one has ever said anything about it.

I do Uber and the only time it bothers me is when someone sits up front for longer trips (15+ minutes) and doesn't interact. It just feels awkward. If you sit in the back seat for a long ride and don't talk, it's cool. But it's awkward as fuck if you're in the front seat and silent.

What is wrong with discussing race? Nothing I said was offensive and it's usually one of the key topics of the discussion when these police shootings get brought up; and the shootings that usually garner the most attention are when a white cop shoots a black suspect.

I can admit it was a little snarky, but it's not like what I said is just some random occurrence that just fell out of the sky. I do however think we should drop this little exchange though as it's adding nothing of substance to the thread.
