Just wanting to share how we do ours; this one felt really good.

How'd we do:

I'm a firm believer everyone should develop their own wrapping technique based on where they need the support. Yours would be good for someone with wrists like a 98 year old mother of 19 who has never even heard of milk.

To each their own, sir.

That is pretty wrist heavy. with that much wrap I would have put about 8 folds just right ontop of the knuckles.

i dont understand why people put so much on the knuckles. gloves have enough padding on the knuckles. i have never hurt my knuckles with gloves on. but i did hurt my wrist.

That's why I made my first post. I've never hurt my wrist, but I have hurt my pinkie knuckle. Everyone is different.

Kung fu and kyokushin made my hands strong. So i dont need that much wrap.

I use the short ones.

Pretty much the same here. I use the wrap mostly to give me a decent grip inside the glove. I have done so much bareknuckle work that gloves always feel weird.

Why do you need to wrap if you wear gloves? Just condition your fists like you do your shins.

Why do boxers fracture their hands? You'd think they'd figure out how not to, considering they use their hands quite a bit.

They're probably not conditioning their hands enough, I suppose...too many flashy jump rope tricks.

You'd also think Tyrone Spong would have figured out how to keep his shins intact after 80+ kickboxing fights...
