Close fight, but Santos outstruck Hall in every round and landed more sig strikes in every round but the 3rd.

Santos should have won the fight.

Close fight, could have gone either way.

It was a close fight. Certainly striking wise, but don't forget about the takedown percentages as well.

But Hall put his hands down! No way did he lose! Did you see how his hands were down? My God, there's no way you can lose like that!

Santos landed just barely more, and at a lower percentage. He also got taken down.

Close fight, but Hall edged him out. Its even more sad that his toe was broken too.

Santos looks clumsy.
Hall looks like a pro.

Anyone watching the fight had to be more impressed with Hall's footwork and technique.
Also, there are significant strikes and there are SIGNIFICANT strikes. Hall probably landed a few more SIGNIFICANT strikes.

So his toe being broke somehow gives him the edge on the scorecards?

30-27 hall was kinda bad judging. But couldve gone either way tbh.

I had Santos but it was reasonably close. Except for the 30-27 card. That was smoking crack.

Not all strikes even significant strikes are created equal.

Hall's strikes looked like they were hard as fuck.

It was a close fight. I don't think the stats really prove anything. Sure he landed them but did they do damage? If anything Santos should have done much better against a broken toe Uriah Hall. It was definitely a close fight though but I scored it for Uriah. Wouldn't have been surprised if Santos won.

People cling onto that toe like crazy. Mark Hunt boxed with the #2 HW for 3 rounds after breaking his toe a minute into the fight. Yet when someone brings it up people go insane with "I didn't know Hunt's Brazilian?", "No need for excuses." etc.

This fight proved that Hall's insanely overrated. He was fighting a guy who's average at best and he lost in many people's eyes.

I'm ok with it. Hall might have loss the fight but be won me over as a fan. Dude is tough.

I made this thread mostly to show how bad judging is and to highlight the almost cult like following Hall has on these forums.

People are treating his toe like his foot was ripped off (Jamie Varner style)
