Damn, this guy is tough and skilled. I'm gonna have to check out his Lineker fight now. Poor guy doesn't have a profile pic on Sherdog:

Here some clips of his first couple of UFC fights. Is anyone out there more familiar with him? Is he a potential title contender?

Not too familiar with him either. But looking at his record he made his ufc debut 8 days after a LFA fight. That’s pretty short notice. I was impressed with him yesterday.

His fight with Alcantara was awesome, almost got his arm ripped off an came back to win by brutal KO

He's got that Ludwig kickboxing style for sure

He's a good fighter and a contender, he can be a little reckless at times though and he puts out so much offence he tends to take a fair bit of damage himself in return

Ok I gotta ask, what’s up with the AV?

What is happening?
I get pms every day asking haha...might have to switch

It's Elliot Offen having a jog

He kind of reminds me of BW GOAT Dom Cruz.

He's fantastic man. Been watching him since his lfa days, his one loss is iffy too if I remember correctly.

Always impressed me with his style and fight IQ. That continued last night.

One of the better prospects in the sport, imo.

As always, we'll have to see how he develops, but I expect to see him in a title fight within the next few years.

All 4 of his UFC fights have been extremely memorable. Watch them all now.

That’s why you have to watch the whole card, if possible. Or at least use fightpass to watch the cards at your leisure if you missed any part of one.

He's a better,bw version of condit

I felt that too styliatically, although hard to judge if he is better than a former WW Interim champ and 2 time contender.

Hopefully he has TDD haha

Sandhagen has a lot of potential. I'm not sure how far he can go, but he really impressed me against Lineker. I knew he was dangerous and tough as hell, after seeing his fight with Alcantara, but I thought he would eventually throw caution to the wind, which would get him in trouble. He stayed disciplined and fought from the outside for most of the night, while facing some serious pressure from a murderous puncher. That's not something that's easily done when you're fighting Lineker. He slugged a little too much late in the fight, which gave him quite a scare, so he's obviously not content with decisions. That might become a bit of an issue against the best, but still. He's used to hurting his opponents, when he lands clean. You just can't hurt Lineker, so this fight should be a valuable lesson. Sandhagen has to be considered a darkhorse in the division. He's shown a lot in the UFC so far. :)

The guy's fight IQ is outstanding for someone who's still relatively new to the UFC.

That guillotine defense, especially after having blood shoot out of his nose, was on point.
