Hendricks proved he lost the fire in the 5th round of the Lawler fight. It's clear even getting robbed went straight to his head and he tried coasting from then on. Even if we give him the W against GSP he lacked the discipline and mindset to perform at a championship level. He chose the burgers.

He had a good fifth round rally in the first Lawler fight

The GSP fight wasn't a robbery. It was super close, probably should have been a draw. In fact, when I rewatched some time back, I was surprised by just how much closer rounds 2 and 4 were than I remembered. Hendricks didn't win his rounds by as much as I originally thought.

If he beat GSP and won the title, I still think GSP would retire. He would then face Lawler in his first defense, same thing as fighting for the vacant belt anyways. Only difference is as actual champion, perhaps Lawler would not get an instant rematch. Then Hendricks would fight Rory and Condit and then Woodley, I think it would still fall into place.

So depending on how those fights go.

And my post was simple. How did you score the fight. You reacted emotionally because the only logical response is 2 clear rounds for Johnny, 2 clear rounds for GSP. It is Universally accepted. The first was close. Maybe you gave it to Johnny but it was close and could reasonably go either way. But once a month on your period you cry about it. Get a life.

Okay then ONEFC or RIZIN judging. Now you can’t use the 10 minute round excuse. I’m basically saying where damage and fight is judged overall but you’re trying to negate that with PRIDE.

Also, I just rewatched the first round. Johnny absolutely landed much better shots to the head and his knees in the clinch to the thighs > GSP barely hitting the body. Besides a couple of slappy kicks GSP’s striking was soft in that round and his jab was non existed. He barely found the head. Between the elbows and clean punches to the head I cannot see where George wins the striking with 1 more significant strike and 1 less total strikes. Both got takedowns and GSP has a sub briefly.

Johnny found the head way more and did damage. GSP was tapping the body in the clinch. Johnny was sending GSP’s leg flying backwards with heavy thigh shots. The head and leg work > GSP’s body shots (the bulk of what he did).

Fair enough. I disagree. GSP's knee isn't flying back because Hendricks is so hard. Its because GSP is negating all the impact. Elbows didn't seem to do anything but impress Rogan "Oh those are viscious elbows". Acting like they were Travis Browne on Barnett or something. They didn't even seem to bother GSP. But if you gave it to Johnny then its a close round that you gave to Johnny. Still not a robbery as the OP suggests.

You mentioned PRIDE FC not me. If it was a fight under different rules don't you think GSP would have fought differently? If it was Hockey he would have worn skates. Johnny lost. He might have won but it was razor close and he claims he coasted at 70% in the last round when he didn't have it because even on his best night on his juiciest of juicy nights he "Almost" won. But he lost because he didn't damage the way some thing he did. If GSP was so beat up he wouldn't have had it left in him to dominate the 5th round. He also dominated the 3rd to the point it was deserving of a better score then the 10-9 Johnny got for his razor thing 2 & 4 so the crying of some like the OP is so very tired...like Johnny in the 5th.

Anderson had a massive career surge after his 35th B day. Proven roider.

Chael, Dan Henderson & TRTitor had amazing career results while on Roids too.

Belal winning is one thing but the way he has in the last couple years is suspect IMO.
