Had Dan NOT stopped the fight, that gash would've gone up to his eyeballs

Anyone who doesn't agree that was a fight stopping cut is an idiot. Doesn't matter if 5 seconds or 5 minutes are left. The fight is immediately over.

Its abundantly clear there will be no more fighting with this gruesome of an injury. This is a medical emergency.

Yep, that's one of the nastiest cuts you'll ever see in fighting. Makes the Diaz cut in the BMF fight look like a paper cut.

Dan checked Reem, saw the cut and called it off. He didn't wave it off because he was out of it. Notice he moves to check on Reem as he walks away, sees the cut and immediately waves it off.

Refs can stop it for a cut?

Its stated In every org, in ever combat sport, and over and over, that the bell can not save a fighter.

Literally every poll and agrees that Reem was done. Their argument is the bell would of saved him when its explicitly stated that that can not h as ppen.
bell saving the fighter is for sports with a standing 10 count. If you are a boxer an get knocked down with 5 seconds left in the round, you still have to get up within 10 seconds, even though the round is over 5 seconds into it. Saved by the bell doesn't apply in mma in that way.

Multiple people are arguing the idea that it should of been let go because he would of been saved by the bell.

That's what you'd call it right? When a fighter is horribly disfigured, dropped, flash kod but they want it to continue?

"saved by the bell" can be looked at in a few different ways. As far as rules go in boxing or kickboxing and some others, it means that the standing 10 count can't be interrupted by the end of the round. If you get knocked down with 3 seconds left, the round will end, but you still need to get up within the 10 second standing count, otherwise you lose. That's where "saved by the bell" is a rule.

In MMA "saved by the bell" just means that you were getting your ass kicked but then the bell rang and the round ended so you didn't get finished.

It's a rule in boxing. In MMA it's just a saying.
