alright training for naga in columbus. anywho tonight our instructor shows us somthing pretty advanced just to peak our interest. Mainly cause we are all beginners. it was a armbar from the far side of the body. i hit it pretty good, but coulda been better know wat im saying? haha. then we started from neutral position, both on knees. we started to roll, and about ten seconds into it i hit an armdrag and slide and obtain back mount with both hooks. shortly after i sank the rear naked choke. so feel free to tell about ur night of training!!!!

from side body? thats not terribly advanced, but keep up the good work and good luck in the tourney!

The turning armbar? your sidemounted then u go to the other side and apply the armbar with an underhook on the arm that your armbarring? learned that yesterday in no gi :D

you want advanced try the reverse kimura from top half guard. Sneaky sneaky!!

or maybe the backwards knee on belly to triangle transition :icon_chee

Every time I go to class it is successful training. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but I always learn.

I watched a full hour of Scrubs!

Haha, me too. But then I popped in one of Saulo's DVD's so I wouldn't miss training as much.

It was only my third time at a proper BJJ class and they were doing sweeps from half-guard that transitioned into leg locks and neck cranks today. That was blowing my mind, I could have sworn I read about that not being taught until you are a blue belt. It was good fun.
