Gyms In Orlando?

can anyone recommend a good mma gym in winterpark? are there any gyms in town that also have weight training as part of their program?

I think Gracie-Barra in Orlando has MMA, I know they have an awesome Muay Thai instructor Bobby Robare who trained many years in MT with Dekkers and Kaman in Holland!!!

hmmm, yeah i'm leaning more towards learning muay thai anyway.

If your loooking for serious Muay Thai Bobby Robare is definitely the man 2 see in Orlando, you can't get better than him he is a product of Mejiro Gym of Holland!!!

I train at Gracie Barra Orlando, both BJJ and MT...

Bobby's a great trainer, very patient with newcomers and is very thorough...he has a very "here's what I'm teaching and WHY I'm teaching it this way" attitude; so you'd enjoy that. We have classes Mon-Thurs at the downtown academy from 6:30-8:15 and a Friday class in the evenings at the Sand Lake academy. The MT trainees are anywhere from 13-50 and have varying degrees of fitness, but Bobby makes an effort to teach at a pace/level where everybody can learn, but the more advanced students won't feel "held back".
