I wish my gym would get rid of the curl rack. It would allow room for a hack squat or something useful.

While we're doing things just for fun and curiosity; explain why you used "their" the first time (wrongly), but managed "there", correctly, the second time?

An old lathe that needs a new motor

A pile of cinder blocks that I was gonna use to work out somehow

Whole shelf of random stains, paints, puttys, that probably arent any good any more

Mini fridge that I never put anything in.

(I work out in my basement)

Tosa is now the grammar nazi, not the SS sales guy :)

I wish my gym would get a power rack or two and maybe a lifting platform. I don't really care what stupid equipment they have, it's the stuff they don't have that bothers me. That said, hardly anyone uses the lone squat rack they have so it rarely delays my lifting and I just use a stretching mat or a folded yoga mat as a cushion when I deadlift.

That sounds just like my gym, and what a buddy of mine does with the mats when he deadlifts, because of course its a no-chalk, no dropping the weights gym. Even though I know for a fact most of the regulars there are on teh roidz and are scarier to women, pussies, and old people than somebody lowering the weights during a DL.

My gym actually has one of these.

Trouble is, girls like this are rarely the ones I see using it.

My college gym had one of those... best machine in the place. When you see a girl on it, ask if she needs a spot. :)
