I would love to compile a list of guys who have never pulled out a fight in their career.

What names can you think of? If you name someone, I can try to research it.

    So far... the OG's are:

    1. Jim Miller 33 UFC fights no pull outs (that I can find)
    2. Edson Barboza 22 UFC fights, no pull outs.
    3. Conor McGregor 12 UFC fights, no pull outs.

I really don’t hold this type of thing in high regard. If you get injured in training (it happens sometimes) it probably makes sense to pull out of the injury is going to negatively impact your performance.

    Bones
Edit: he pulled out of 178.

    Urijah Faber?

My memory is hazy, didn't Jones pull out of one of the Cormier fights with an injury?

And then the fight was postponed for a few months?

You may be right, although I think it was Daniel but it's been a long time too.

Urijah Faber? Has he ever pulled out?

Of course there is always some luck involved if a fighter has never pulled out, but at least it's very likely that fighter trains smart and knows how to avoid situations that can have him forced to pull out.

That or they manage to fight with serious injuries and stand a big chance of losing. LOL

It wasn't against Cormier, it was against Gustafsson. They were suppose to rematch but Jones got injured and a few months later so did Gus so they made Jones vs Cormier for UFC 182.

He pulled out against Rashad. They were supposed to fight earlier in the 2008 but Chuck injured his quad or hamstring in training. I think there was footage of it too, where Liddell screamed "Fuck! I felt it pop!"

exactly. between training striking, takedowns, submissions, cardio, strength/weight training, even if people are not over-training, they are putting a lot of stress on joints and muscles and pushing the limits of recovery
