Well, one was on TUF the other was an actual fight.

Sampo fought on lik 8 days notice but Gutierrez fought on TUF so he probably had a few days after he found out when he was fighting to make weight.

Gutierrez knew he had to make weight soon regardless though and should have been ready.
Plus I think since TUF is on national TV show it makes it a little worse for Dana.

Most of the fighters on TUF are garbage any way. They all fight in MMA as a hobby. Yet Dana passes on Askren. I guess its better to build up people on a reality show and pay them peanuts. Im glad the TUF ratings are in the shitter. I bet those guys don't get paid to even be on the show. I hate what TUF has become. BELLATORS show is way better. Its like how TUF used to be in the beginning.

Im sure Dana was annoyed that it was the 2nd fight that was cancelled on the show and knew ratings would probably suffer.

gutierrez had a free pass and a warning by Cody getting booted off the show and he still ate whatever and then missed weight.

Exactly.

One guy gave in to gluttony, while talking about how everyone is jealous and he can eat whatever he wanted. Then missed weight and drank shower water during the water cut lol. He had weeks to make sure he was near weight so he could make the water cut and he is supposed to be doing everything he could for his shot at the UFC.

Sampo took the fight on a weeks notice with no time to diet down, which takes balls unless you are near fight weight already.

I like Sampo and i respect him a lot as a fighter.

He did get punished though, so Dana obviously wasnt entirely pleased.

Sampo isnt the first guy not to make weight, and the larger question is why does one guy get cussed out and one guy gets a pass.

I personally didnt like the fact Dana is questioning a fighters heart and calling him weak, when Dana isnt a fighter.
