What do you think on how high Nelson's ceiling is?
He is an amazing grappler, and can finish fights in a small amount of time if he gets it to the ground. The problem is, he isn't a great wrestler, and his striking isn't that great, he is a straight forward karate striker, except he isn't very difficult to getting a blueprint for. Rick Story easily found out that Nelson isn't a threat at all when moving back, and also isn't great at setting up that 'karate blitz'.
Tumenov is quite a pressure fighter, with even better striking skills than Story, more power and is much more fluid. I think he will knock Nelson out in the first or second round. I don't think momentum is on his side at all, unless he thinks tapping Conor will automatically guarantee him a victory vs Tumenov. There are much strongers wrestlers in Balkaria, than in Iceland and Ireland/UK together.
Nelson is also pretty small for the weight class.
Do you think he will beat Tumenov? and do you think he should really move to 155?
