I had been kind of a casual fan of Buckethead for a little while but he fell off of my radar, the other day I was looking through his discography and I discovered that he has started releasing material at an insane rate. He's releasing new albums just about every few days, the albums consist of about 30 minutes of instrumental guitar driven music and a lot of the ones I've listened to are actually pretty good. I'm just wondering how the hell a person has the time to do this. This is the latest one.

Even then I can't imagine coming up with an hour of original music every couple days.

Nah I cant either its an insane amount of work but like i said tryin to be funney not having a day job does wonders for what you can get done in a week creatively

I thought Buckethead was Slash with a KFC bucket on his head, no?

praxis transmutatis mutandis with bootsy\brain\bernie worrell is my favorite buckethead record by far- met him once and all he did was grunt and squeel at me. it was awesome.

That is an insane work ethic. The only guitarist I can think of off the top of my head with a huge discography is Misha Mansoor of Periphery and even he doesn't come close to this guy.

The Kos and Struve of guitarists.

Like a modern day Duane Allman, only he's playing on his own albums instead of as a session guitarist.

His brother was my high school math teacher.

This is fantastic. I'm not really that big of a fan of Buckethead only because he kind of slipped under my radar. I've known of him simply as a great guitarist who wears a bucket on his head.

Added this to my favorites. Thanks for posting.

has a Tool feel to it. Didn't Ozzy not want to work with him?

Ozzy wanted to hire him but he wanted Buckethead to take off the costume and just be a normal guitarist and Buckethead refused.

I always thought he wrote and performed the Power Rangers theme song. I guess he didn't.

That's insane. I actually saw bucket head live when he was playing with Guns N' Roses. They gave him around 10 minutes by himself on stage to do his own thing. It was really cool.
