I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening of the new Pedro Sauer Academy HQ and Super Seminar with Jeff Curran, Pedro Sauer and Rickson Gracie at the Pedro Sauer Academy in Herndon, VA. Master Sauer and his righthand man, Mike, allowed me to film techniques taught by Professor Curran and Master Sauer. It was a great weekend with a lot of eye opening BJJ.

I'll be posting videos from the seminar as I go through and edit them, so please standby. Also, I found out that Pedro Sauer Academy has a subscription site that only costs $50 per year!! They post techniques taught by Master Sauer and other seminars taught at the Academy. As a longtime MGinAction subscriber, I'm excited about getting access to their site at such a minimal cost. Here's the address if you're interested: https://pedrosauertsd.com

Anyhow, here's a great warm-up drill taught by Professor Jeff Curran. I hate doing non-BJJ related warm-up drills (push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, etc, etc), so I was excited that Jeff got us all warmed up by working this drill and helping me add another useful warmup drill for my students.

I really enjoy the details taught by Jeff in the video.

It is sad to see him in his new black belt (he loss his original one recently). Also, it is great to see him return to BJJ after his long and successful MMA career.

Thanks for this - our instructor traveled from Wisconsin for the seminar, and we were drilling part of this sequence in class this week.

Any other videos you have from this would be appreciated.

Thanks

That grip detail at ~1:30 is the truth.
