A rematch with Hendricks. Even though it might have to be at a catchweight <45>

So many people are claiming that Georges doesn't deserve a title shot out of the gate. Big Rigg would be a fantastic return fight for him, especially if he somehow beats Lombard. There is a score to settle there, And Hendricks in all reality deserves a rematch of that fight. Plus, we can see what would have happened if they actually underwent rigorous testing like they both talked about before the fight.

We already know Hendricks sucks. He beat George but he declined rapidly over the years. Now we want to know where Georgie boy stands. Boy George should fight Bisping or Diaz. Maia gets next title shot.

You think Georges should be thrown right in with the best of the best after a 3 year layoff?

I agree that we should see where he stands. That's why you don't give him a title fight out of the gate. If you do, it really should be a WW title fight, since that is the only division he's ever fought in.

GSP versus Matt Brown as a tune up
That's a pretty good pick, actually. Gorges hasn't fought in forever, Matt is a respectably tough guy who needs a chance to turn things around in a big way. A win over GSP would do wonders for him, and a win over Brown would give some legitimacy to GSP getting a shot at the biggest fights.

Silva then Conor
I would be ok with that. Unfortunately, as a GSP fan, I think Silva beats him even now. But the fight would be appropriate and also be a huge seller. If GSP has a solid win, that would make GSP /McGregor even bigger than before.

GSP has every right to go after belts but he's had his time. As a fan I want him to fight one of the all time greats as well as one of the current greats while its still possible and realistic.

i don't know who gsp's first opponent would be but i would suspect it's highly unlikely that it'll be for the strap... ronda pretty much taught the ufc how to ruin a comeback in short order lol.

I personally don't have an issue with TS right away from a rankings/achievement standpoint. Really it would be fine if he fought Woodley or Bisping. The only thing that makes me look at other options is his inactivity.

My pic is Nick Diaz or Lawler.

Anything except the silly Bisping fight.

I'd be down with either of those fights.

But seriously, Hendricks. It was a controversial 1st fight. Johnny is coming off a win where a lot of people thought he'd get worked. Plus Johnny called him out in the post fight. Let's do this.

No interest in Nick whatsoever.
I'd like to see him fight Lawler or Maia.
Maybe loser of Tyron/Wonderboy.

He doesn't belong in the UFC.

He needs to have a bunch of tune up fights in the minor leagues until he can string together some finishes.

His return fight should be Anderson Silva.
