Gsp's chin

How good was it in his prime and where would you rank hin in terms of his chin and ability to absorb shots in the welterweight division. I feel that he is underrated in this regard. Yes he got ko'd by serra but that was ages back when he fought a more aggresive style. Would you say his chin is bettee than lawler/woodley?

Never the best chin to be honest , he was just very good at timing his takedowns when his opponents attempted to strike with him.

His face always looked beat to shit after fights, so he takes hits. Outside of Serra, who hits like a steel bat, he has been pretty durable. He took those nasty fucking elbows from Hendricks. His chin is good.

Serra didn't knock him out cold. I bet he regrets tapping to strikes considering he took a clean shot from Condit and survived and Hendricks hit him with his best shots and coulden't put him away.

He’s anal about brain damage. He’d tap again to avoid it. It should be better in theory, but I don’t think we’ll find out.

Anderson *had* a great chin. Not anymore, and by the time he fought Sonnen (who rocked him only a little) and then Bisping he was winding down.
