I think it's 5 years too late. That ship has sailed, we are seeing the worst version of Anderson (still amazing for a 41 year old) against a man who we still don't know if he will fight again, it's all rumours at this point. Considering the event is early July, I doubt either will be there for the reasons mentioned above. I think it's time to let the silva vs GSP and silva vs jones super fights go, Dana and the UFC messed up, they still could've done it after 162 but ego's.....ahh well. On a side note still Devo prime Pettis vs prime aldo never happened

Well it would be a fun fight to see still in my opinion, but not really interesting anymore. I put this in the same bracket as Shogun vs. Hendo, a good fight for fans, but the legacy and all that behind it is kind of ruined already so.

Somewhere between 2009-2012 would have been the time to make this fight. Anderson is still great for his age, but he's not what he was. And GSP looked alot more beatable in his last fight which was 2 1/2 years ago. The ship has sailed.
