Now that the conor fight is ruined by one diaz brother, what if gsp returns from retirement to fight a returning nick?
GEORGES WHERE YOU AT?
GEORGES WHERE YOU AT?
We all know captain' America is juiced up.Yeah but since then georges lost to captain america...
Still georges didn't even manage to sit on top of captain's shield for even a round...We all know captain' America is juiced up.
And he didn't lost, was a no contest really
I know, no takedown attempt was stupid. Capt'n America groundgame probably is pretty bad. BJJ wasn't around in america in 1940's.Still georges didn't even manage to sit on top of captain's shield for even a round...

Why would George Come back to fight Nick Diaz again ?
GSP easily won the 1st fight, and Diaz hasn't done anything since that fight
to suggest a second fight would be different. GSP is only coming out of retirement for a big fight; and one that he would most likely win.
George Vs. Nate Diaz ( if Nate beats Conor again) would sell better.
Granted, GSP would beat Nate even more easily than Nick. It would be fun to watch though.
Nobody wants to watch GSP jab and hangout in Diaz gaurd. Barely anybody with a brain wanted to see it last time.
What is with you people? What on earth even made you think this is a worthy suggestion to type out? I would love to hear your thoughts process on how you came to this conclusion.

Well a big fight would be one with a narrative behind it.Fighting lawler would make him champ and i am sure he doesn't want to defend it.So yes a diaz is the only sellable fight. But on one hand nate is not a natural ww and he also has another marketable path in front of him.On the other hand nick is out as well and so they could bring back two high profile fighters.
Granted with my logic rory would be a good fight as well, but i dont think it could happen...
Yes his return will sell. But fighting the right person will sell more.GSP has sold more PPVs then any fighter ever. He could fight anyone and it would sell big

Short term thinking though. Nick's marketability will start tanking if they keep giving him fights he will lose. It would be 4 losses in a row. Give Nick someone like Brown and have GSP fight Anderson. That's a much bigger fight then GSP VS Nick anywayYes his return will sell. But fighting the right person will sell more.
Let's me rephrase it. Hardly anybody with a brain thought it would be competitve.
It played out exactly like most people thought it would. A not so eventful 50-45.
Just a tip, you look simple when you call people names on the internet.
Well the "superfight" with anderson would really be a joke at this point...And i dont think the ufc cares for nick's marketability that much.Short term thinking though. GSP's ground game is just really good, you cant fault Nick Diaz for his BJJ not being effective GSP's ground game is just that good.Nick Diaz crawled away from the ground fight 3 times when he was in the cage with Georges. He is ranked as a 3rd degree black belt but when the lights were shining brightest, in his UFC title fight vs. the greatest WW of all time, he wilted. It's the first time in history that a Cesar Gracie black belt has done that.
After the fight, in the cage Nick shit on Cesar which is particularly entertaining because leading up to the fight, Nick continually blasted Georges accusing him of not representing Gracie Jiu Jitsu enough.
What was also highly entertaining about the first fight is that for years, when Nick was the reigning Strikeforce champ he called out GSP every chance he had, claiming if St-Pierre asked for the fight, he would hop the cage and be like "What's up Motherfuckr?" But you saw when they were locked in the octagon, for some reason, all of a sudden Diaz didn't have anything to say. Not one word, no taunting like in the Silva fight, nothing. He was scurred. He spoke about it before the fight in the Countdown and Primetime shows about how he was scared of getting elbowed in the face.
He also didn't have anything to say when the fight was over...that is when Georges was still within ear shot. Then when the post fight presser was over and GSP had gone on to celebrate at his after party, Nick got to the Ariel Helwani interview. During that interview, when St-Pierre wasn't around anymore, he started talking about how he thinks he can beat that guy! This is exactly what you would expect from a guy that snuck out Cesar Gracie's back door leading up to the fight and went running to hide from everyone...
We won't talk about how he continually refused to engage in the stand-up portion of the fight (which was about 1/2 of the contest). I mean, when Georges wasn't boxing him up and repeatedly beating him to the punch.
So, next time you hear him asking where GSP is at, you tell Nick Georges is looking for him.

Moreover any fighter who loses goes down in marketability. But yes i see what you are saying.
