I think the perfect end to GSP's career would be to come back for 1 more fight against Hendricks. I truly think that if GSP made that his last night, he would decisively beat Hendricks. There's nothing left for him to prove and I agree that he doesn't owe the UFC anything considering how much money he's made the organization. But coming back for one last fight against an opponent he's faced already and beating him would be the perfect end. I'm in the minority here and believe GSP won rounds, 1, 3 & 5 and I can see an argument for him losing too, but I don't agree with these idiots like Joe Rogan and even Dana White who think it was such a clear victory for Hendricks. I have no clue what fight they were watching if they are so sure Hendricks won. What do you guys think, one last fight for GSP and he goes out win or lose? I think it's a win win for him because even if he loses, he loses and passes the torch.

I think he should retire. He has nothing left to prove. He had a close fight but so what?

He's slower and way past his best. I really want to see him go out with the belt. Maybe then we get to see a tournament for the belt or at least some change in the division

I too believe he should retire. He's done a lot for the sport.
Get him a HOF spot

GOAT

Gsp isn't going to retire lol. What's with all of these threads?

He doesn't seem to love training the way that he used to, which was a hallmark of his. If his heart just isn't in it anymore, it's time to hang them up. He's the best WW of all time, and easily one of the top 5 best P4P ever.

GSP - The Final Chapter sounds like the shitty "last" movie in a 1980s horror franchise. In this one randy teens are stamped out by St.-Pierre until a backwoods mountain man named Hendricks manages to save the lone virginal teen and kill GSP. Only for us to find out GSP put his demon seed in a French woman who decides to bring the baby to term only for it to morph into a full grown GSP clone that kills Hendricks.

Seriously though it would be a great cap off to a great career but I really think people are talking about GSP calling quits too prematurely. There was preflight talk about it, combined with a substandard win over Hendricks, combined with post fight ambiguity about personal challenges- and now that adds up to him being done.

Agree he has nothing to prove and doesn't owe anyone anything but I'd say the guy has a good three years left in him for sure and could still retire at the top of the game then.

There's no way Dana lets him actually leave via a half hearted post fight speech. They're gonna want to put on a marquee ($$$) retirement fight for him in Canada or something. If it's not the Hendricks re-match it could (finally) be the catchweight Silva fight.

Admit it, you'd watch it.
