Well he’s a GOAT fighter and not a gymnast. I think you can agree he picked the right sport to partake in.

I’m sure there’s some MMA fighters who can perform manuevers better than GSP. Even at young age, GSP seldom landed a proper back flip.

It takes about a year of gymnastics to get flips down. That’s the truth.

Single flips are basic for elite gymnasts because they start at 7 and peak anytime from 19-33. They also train 6 hours a day.

There are plenty of MMA fighters who couldn’t do one flip.

GSP does front and back with a twist, flips up and a few other moves. He’s pretty impressive for a non gymnast imo.
