BJ Penn didn't literally tapped out but he basically refused to get off the stool to go another round with GSP.

GSP got destroyed by Matt Serra, getting hit after hit and trying to recover and trying again until he decided to quit and tap out.

Shogun got blasted by the GOAT Jon Jones taking brutal knees and elbows and finally tapped out.

I would say Shogun is probably most warranted, based on his Hando fight, we know Shogun is willing to take punishment so for him to tap out to Jon Jones just meant that was one serious beating that everyone else would have tapped out much sooner.

Meanwhile, Boogeywoman gets hit by a relatively soft puncher "Thug" Rose and immediately taps. Out of all the women fighter before this happened, I would of thought Joanna would be the least likely to tap. I thought she was a legit "to the death" fighter but I guess I was wrong. It is disappointing to be honest. Even Rousey went down on her shield. Boogerwoman is embarrassing the way she call someone who she tapped out to a "fluke".

Well...."technically" speaking here....Shogun never tapped to strikes. Jones came in with a body shot, Shogun was going down and the follow up knee grazed him and the fight was stopped. The tap came seconds after the fight was already stopped.

Corner stoppage

Shogun said his "tap" was just giving props to Jones on his "win" i believe that

shit thread. none of these fighters tapped to strikes. Are you retarded or something?

Obviously BJ Penn, he started this "tapping to strikes" nonsense and he gave up against GSP, lol.

In order of most reasonable

Shogun --> Penn --> GSP --> Joanna

Bj's corner threw in the towel. I remember them asking him if he wanted to keep fighting to which he didn't respond, probably because he was on planet cuckoo, which his corner recognised and ended the fight.

Besides, I don't really care that fighters tap to strikes. In all these cases the fighter was absolutely defeated. When you're done, you're done.

pretty sure TS tapped to the 3rd grade

Haha how do you start with a lie in line one...

Bj penn didn’t tap to strikes but we all knew that

Same thing with Joanna. The fight was just stopped when she started tapping out!

Shogun and Penn (didn´t tap) were getting brutalized badly.

BJ Penn didn't even need strikes to tap, lol.

Getting your head caved in for multiple rounds might have had an impact on the corner decision (I agree with the corner. BJ is to tough for his own good)
