GSP says lax NSAC testing is the reason he's not fighting

After hearing the recent NSAC hearing, it seems penalties are becoming more strict in the near future (though Silva got off light as fuck), but honestly, the testing is pathetic. Anderson had only been randomly tested once in his entire career, and it came back positive. Respect he was coming back from an insane injury, but he's not the only one doing illegal shit. So easy to get around testing by juicing or doping off season. And with the money and pressure on these fighters, of course they will cheat because they assume 'If I'm not doing it, the other guy will be."

The UFC has ignored it because they are still making money. Consumers have ignored it because the fights are still entertaining, if not more so. But seriously, it's like a free for all. When is the NSAC going to start giving a shit.

This is so 2013, TS. I know it's a recent interview but this has been his "reason" all along. Not news...

I think he meant randomly tested only once in his career.

GSP has been randomly tested once in his entire career.

He also fought a lot in Canada where many fighters have said they don't even get drug tested. GSP also ducked USADA testing which is now doing the testing for the UFC. Lol at GSP ever coming back with all this testing he avoided almost his entire career.

If this is 'so 2013' fucking pathetic that the NSAC hasn't done anything about it. Random testing with heavy punishments, once positive banned for 2 years, twice, banned period. This is not the ultimate drug masking championship, it's the ultimate fighting championship.

NSAC has lost sight of their purpose.

I guess you missed the Hendricks debacle where Johny accused George of roiding so then George submitted to all the random testing and never tested positive while Hendricks declined to have the very same testing done on him? What a hypocrite move that was. And then Dana and Co. didn't even back Goerge up. I'd have been eternally pissed too.

When did this happen? I'm calling bullshit. If you bought that Hendricks WADA crap then I feel sorry for you.

I loved gsp but it's time he stfu and just said he was over fighting and he wanted to quit before he took too much damage. He accomplished all his goals and was ready for different challenges outside of fighting.

He comes off like such a pussy with these vague answers to coming back etc.

He gave an answer. He will come back when the NSAC cleans its shit up.

I mean literally during Anderson's hearing someone's ringtone came on saying "Let's talk about sex baby" and the committee chair started giggling. They weren't taking it seriously.

    You're simply ignorant.

Show me at any point in time in between when the fight was announced and that frenchy wanted the steroid testing where Hendricks accused gsp of roiding. You nuthuggers act as if gsp wanting extra testing was a reaction to being accused of roiding by Hendricks which is simply not true.

    NSAC clean up its act?

So they should be like Canadian commissions where they don't drug test at all and bend the rules so fighters don't have to cut the required weight? That's the commission GSP liked fighting for.

You've got zero reading comprehension you know nothing noob. The rest of your thread adds no further information and the 'facts' in your thread are wrong.

    Try again.

For those fans who say we gain more than we lose in entertainment value by overlooking steroid use, I'd say GSP's retirement proves otherwise.
