It's all from the early stages of his career. He was finishing people, fought frequently, and was a complete fighter. Being polite helps and the head kick on Hughes made him a lot of fans myself included. While still a fan I found the last few years of his career boring as fuck as he never changed a thing. Kind of similar to Hendo and his reliance on the H bomb everyone knew it was coming.
