Sugar Ray being Sugar Ray lol,...his rules,...everything he wanted Hagler had to give in...like a way larger ring so that Leonard can run and dance,...no way he wanted a small ring because Hagler would of just whopped his ass,...larger gloves,...Leonard didn't want to get brutalized with those small ones,...because of course Hagler hit like a mule.

Kind of like Mayweather,...who gets his way for every fight,...even the referee lol.

Gives you an idea of how big a guy like SRL was at welterweight (boxing welterweight, 147). He looks every bit as big as GSP here.

Then you think, Tommy Hearns was over 6' tall and fought SRL at welterweight. That was just a terrifying division at the time.

You know, I feel like the great boxers of that time had the most craziest cardio ever compared to todays fighters. Those guys used the methods I believe todays fighters lack. Those guys did lots of roadwork, jump rope, and military style plyos, just straight hard work w/o all the fancy schmancy training seen today with gassing fighters.
