Just said on the MMA Hour...

That Conor is the fight that would put more money on the table, but in terms of legacy he doesnt see how conor would add anything to his.

That if he fights again he would want someone to complete his legacy... like a p4p great or something.

Coming back and winning the WW title again would be pretty solid. Or fighting Romero/Whittaker. Those are all ideas that would benefit his legacy, in my opinion.

It's true...He knows Conor is a joke.

I love this French bro, and I normally hate the French.

sure. I will lay down while I wait GSP fighting again...........

If Khabib wins Vs Ferg, I think GSP Vs Khabib is the fight to make.

win Vs a 26-0 fighter + 3 divison champ

Can't top that imo.

He liekly means he will fight Woodley, or less liekly Jon Jones.

Everyone knows its purely a money fight. Huge for conor though. GSP should take woodleys strap when he feels better and then move back up to fight whittaker/romero

At this point in their careers I feel like Woodley would take it. GSP in his prime would steamroll Woodley though. No way does GSP go back up to face Whittaker or Romero. That would take some massive balls and is very high risk. Doesn't seem like something GSP would do.

truth.

GSP beating Conor means very little in terms of legacy...mainly because Nate already did it (almost twice) and no one considers Nate an elite WW.

GSP is the WW GOAT and beat a lame MW champ...beating on LW Conor would simply be expected, and anything short of demolishing him would be criticized as negative.

It's a huge payday, and would spread GSP's name amongst the wider fanbase...but does it add to his MMA legacy? not really.

FWIW, GSP's comments could also be an attempt to trigger Conor into providing that pay day lol

He's totally right. It's the same as Floyd fighting Conor. Everyone with any sense knew Conor had no chance. And If he fights GSP we won't have a chance either. GSP will take him down and pound him into the ground. And everyone will just look at GSP and think that he just did what he was supposed to do.

I am hoping he tries to get the WW belt back. I would love to see him and Woodley fight.

Right. So that's why Zahabi keeps mentioning Conor's name as a potential opponent and Danaher on Rogan's podcast talking about GSP fighting at 155.

He's not going to call anyone out and he's said it since he came back that he wouldn't call out someone from a lower weight class as he sees it as 'bullying'
