All this talk about ducking Silva, ducking Hendricks, cheery picking Diaz.

Georges wants to be the best, but somewhere along the line he realized there is money to be made as well. He's just scheduling to get the best out of every situation.

    And Silva will happen.

GSP just wants to get paid.

when you have enough money in the bank, you can afford to take this strategy. can't blame him for doing what is best for himself

I believe GSP's is asking $50 million to fight The Spider as he is states a fight against Silva may cause him career ending injuries. Can't say I blame him. WAR DIAZ !!!!!!!!!!!

When you're in demand you can afford to do what he's doing.

Well Anderson has fought guys like Travis Lutter etc

Nick Diaz is a big name and can stop George via strikes or submission so it's not like he's a gimmie fight.

So what if he wants a payday don't we all ? what would you do in his situation probably the same thing!!!

PS: and I'm not talking bad about Silva but it's the truth and the people that are saying shit like GSP is ducking this guy and that guy to fight Nick Diaz like Diaz is some sort of can or something yet Silva wanted to fight Diaz too (Don't hear those fans say that)... Silva has fought really inferior competition in the past so it's like calling the kettle black.

Anderson never started making money until Ronaldo started to help him.

GSP is a disgrace to the sport for wanting to beat the shit out of a guy who called him a motherfucker and a coward, for an obscene amount of money.

Doesn't everyone ? Anyone that steps back for a second to look at the whole situation. G.S.P. vs Anderson / Hendricks / Diaz ... Diaz is clearly the best overall choice. They have a history. People want to see it. Diaz is more well known than Hendircks so will bring more $$ and is in G.S.P. weight class unlike Anderson. Plus it is possible if Diaz wasn't next to fight G.S.P. he could go on to lose a fight and than a G.S.P. vs Diaz fight is on hold until Diaz can string together some wins or maby will never happen at all. Everyone misses out on a big fight and UFC / fighters lose out on lots of this $$$$$.

The Anderson fight will always be there until he retires. The Diaz fight is more fragile and with another loss might not be there again. Hendircks will get his shot eventually.

WOW. Since when is ok to not take care of yourself. The UFC has no love for fighters once they lose their marketability. I understand it is a business; however GSP is fighting in his weightclass if Silva wants to fight him then he need to make the cut to 170. I hope GSP continues to stay focused on his 170 pound divison instead holding an entire weightclass hostage for years. Instead of waiting for big fights Silva should retire or relinquish the title to someone who wants to defend it.

:icon_lol: any decade now.....The fight isn't anywhere near as big to me now that it's been dragged through the ringer for years and I can't stand people who say its going to happen for sure now.

Well Silva is getting better with every fight so at 40 he will be the most dangerous opponent GSP has ever fought.
