- Jones at 25 was already the best in the world at his size. Him by nº of defenses and years as a champion. And is still going.
- GSP at 25 was still putting it together and struggling with Hughes and Serra (very good but rather rudimentary by today standars imo). He has a case though; and the comeback fight with Bisping was pretty epic

any case, they both can only dispute for #2
