There's no union at the moment and it's embarrassing so there is that.

The union will not do much for contractors. The real issue that prevents competition is the draconian contracts UFC creates.

They should make it illegal to hold to fighter down for more than 1 fight. Then fighters could easily switch organizations and the market economy will take care of everything.
