A finish means nothing. It means that you were lucky. Everyone can K.O. everyone, if luck is on your side.
To completly shut down his opponents like GSP did, it requires talent. A lot of talent. He was certainly the most talented MMA fighter ever, and thus, the GOAT.
Fedor is, IMO, almost on his level. The only other dude who could compete with GoatSP in terms of pure talent, IMO, is Jon Jones. But Jones fucked himself by getting caught by USADA.

What if the fight continued?
GSP, we know the answer: he broke his opponent's will to fight, playing with them where they were weak, in masterful performances.

Silva was probably the greatest striker ever ("probably", because, since he was a cheater, we'll never know for sure how great he truly was), but GSP was excellent everywhere. He was so much more of a complete fighter than Anderson Silva. Again, IMO, only Jon Jones can be compared to him (but he's a cheater too, so fuck him).

It was fun to watch Silva doing his things (except, you know, vs Leites and vs Maia... and vs Cote...) but it wasn't "impressive", to me.
