All this talk of GSP's amazing bjj is hearsay, when has he ever showed great bjj?

Andersons biggest weakness according to many but he has subbed guys when it counted, just saying...

What fucking talk are you talking about ?

I don't think I have seen a single person say GSP had great bjj. He was a striker and wrestler.

He finished an armbar on Matt fucking Hughes tho.

Yeah it was fucking moronic how his fans would chastise critics because apparently finishes are for barbaric meatheads who dont appreciate technique

While BJJ is not all about subbing, the lack of GSP's attempts to finish a fight was indeed frustrating to watch.

LMAO

This got me omg I love this place sometimes

It's true, that armbar took a painful long time and GSP was like "fuck it back to point fighting"

Seriously, why did he let that go?

What I found funny about that fight was Dan talking about how he would never tap and such but goes on to tap to Chris Lytle a few fights later.

It's been a long time but.. wasn't it a kimura?

edit: and if you saw it.. I mean, how Hardy hung in there is still beyond me.

When you make a thread about a 2010 date fight of a retired fighter this means you need to get a life

whats this thread about? so gsp and anderson have no ground skills?

some people have good flexibility in their joints. werdum was unable to finish vinny magalhaes in their grappling match despite having a fully locked in armbar.

Lol this has been spoken about for years and years. You're like the millionth person to make this thread.

Don't think anyone ever has sais GSP's BJJ is his strength or Anderson's BJJ is his weakness.

Did you watch the fight? GSP was visibly shocked that Hardy didn't tap, was winning the fight anyway so he coasted instead of breaking his arm. Not every MMA fighter has the moral compass of Shinya Aoki.
