GSP Chin/Heart

I'm a GSP nuthugger. I think he got beat up last night, but I also think you can look at the current round scoring system and give him 48 points, even though he got beat to hell.

Can we all now put to bed that GSP hasn't got a chin? That GSP has no heart? That GSP is an athlete and not a fighter?

The man is a warrior. His game plan was to duck under Johny's left and get a double. Johny blasted his face twice in the first round, and all of GSP's game plan was destroyed.

He fought 23 minutes on heart and his will to fight.

Congrats to Johny on winning the battle, I'm glad GSP ended up with more points. I'm excited for a rematch.

Guy knows how to win. Not every fighter does.

good. this thread needed making. He is a fighter, who usually wins on athleticism, and chooses not to Wanderlei his face straight into danger for the fans.

Yeah he fought with so much heart out there. Such a great chin and he held up to those punches from Johny very well.

I am not a Gsp fan at all and thought he clearly lost 3 rounds , but I'll give him credit he has heart and can take a punch

Tons of heart and his chin is legit. He took everything Hendricks had to offer and kept going after him.

I said it in another thread. I used to love GSP, now I can't stand watching his fights. He showed me he's still a true warrior last night, I thought he'd fold but he kept on coming and when it mattered most, he stole the fight. Even if he really lost.

Too bad the only heart he displays is when he is recovering from shots. Other than that he is a point fighter that is happy to do the jab jab takedown sequence for 25 min straight.
