GSP is obviously just in it for quick cash grabs, low risk-high reward type of fights at this point. He wants nothing to do with power strikers that could deal out a brutal knockout.

He doesn’t want anything to do with Woodley and that fight sells like shit. Khabib or Conor are GSP’s best options, but they likely want him to drain himself to 155lbs which I don’t see happening.

Enter the King of Chaos. GSP’s team could probably convince him to take this fight. Not a high risk of a knock out. But GSP doesn’t like the idea of being embarrassed. Enter the cardio factor. GSP gassed vs Nick Diaz, and was starting to visibly slow down in the Bisping fight.

I have a hard time imagining current post-usada GSP being able to keep up with Colby’s natural pace. So maybe GSP wouldn’t take the fight simply because of cardio fear. The last thing GSP wants to be remembered for is getting NerdBashed by Colby’s verbal assault and then gassing out and getting teed off on the feet against Colby.

It is the classic good guy vs bad guy matchup, so maybe GSP risks the embarrassment for one of his potentially best remaining pay days.

How do you guys see this fight going, and would it break the Conor/Diaz 2 PPV record ? I’ve got Colby by TKO in round 4, and the PPV would sell around 1-1.3 million i think.

Colby is too unaccomplished. Woodley is too good. Conor/Khabib are too small.

I doubt GSP wants to come back, he's just staying relevant in the headlines.

Maybe if Nate Diaz or some shit by some miracle captures a belt, then GSP will once again feel the itch to compete. I don't blame him, fighting someone like Woodley while you're a solid #2 of all time is too risky.

Colby? What would that do for his legacy.
No matter what he is saying, he is going after Conor or Khabib. Maybe even Anderson if he dares.

lol that PPV wouldn’t even break over 1M... GSP maxes at like 800k for ppv buys

GSP would beat Colby anywhere he's a far better wrestler and a better striker.

I'm disagreeing with the idea that GSP Woodley would not sell. GSP trying to win back the WW title is going to be huge no matter who the champ is

LOL at GSP/Colby selling HALF of Conor/Nate 2, let alone out selling it.

Worry about not losing your next fight Colby. And stop spending all that money on not touching pornstars. If you were smart, you'd start saving now.

That would be a great analysis is any of it were true. Nice work ts.

Colby is just not that good tbh. Even being way out of practice, I would see GSP giving him a beating. Colby's most notable for taking a boomerang to the head. Nothing to gain for GSP, he would just be giving Colby a free payday.

LMFAO. GSP would man handle him. Badly.

GSP would bury Covington. GSP/McGregor is a massive money fight, of course he wants it. Frankly, that may be the only fight that lures McGregor back, although he better work on his TDD. A lot.

In his prime for sure, now it's hard to call since he hasn't fought at WW in 5 years and his cardio didn't look too good against Bisping.

The point still remains that this fight doesn't make any sense. Maybe it will one day but not unless Colby becomes champion and is more established overall.

Tbh, the GSP-comeback fights I'd dig the most is with Anderson. Alternatively, either Nate or Nick.

I am not sure I want to see GSP matched up with Woodley, Whitaker, Khabib or any fighter currently in their prime, except maybe Conor because in that case both stands to gain something from it.

GSP vs Nate

I know how that fights gonna go, but I like knowing exactly how a fight will go and seeing it play out anyways. It's fun, like magic. So thats who I think he should fight next.

Then after that, Nick Diaz rematch.

He should fight Conor. Its a good fight and a true Superfight. I dont really care the weight, just make it a non-title fight with 5 rounds.

Prime GSP before the USADA era definitely mops Colby.

But don’t you think Colby’s relentless pace could wear down GSP at this point? GSP might get outworked by the younger, hungrier guy.

Plus if Colby visits Trump and dethrones Woodley, he definitely becomes a money fight option for GEorges

The fact that you can even write an entire post about GSP fighting Colby at this stage proves you know exactly jack and shit about MMA.

Add to that the fact that your whole analysis of the hypothetical fight is pure garbage. You could have summed it all up with "I hate GSP".

You make no sense and are obviously posting out of emotion.

Whether you like it or not, Colby is on the cusp of becoming a money fight for GSP. All he has to do is dethrone Woodley.

And I don’t “hate” GSP or any fighter, I don’t even know them personally. I don’t even hate anyone in general.

I love you bro
