Well over the weekend after meeting Herb Dean, Michael Romero (creator of booyah fightwear), and Urijah Faber....@ King of the Cage "Preditor Returns" I decided to check out the fight shorts from Ground and Pound, actually these shorts i have are VERY nice, cost was just $40 bucks. My training partener and i decided to buy some.. To all of you that want an NICE VERY IMPRESSIVE pair of shorts you should check www.groundandpoundfightgear.com but my shorts i bought were even better than my TAPOUT Matt Hughes shorts, they have a great stretch and they have SWEET ASS styles for all you people who like to grapple and do anything from swim, fight, and even casual wear i would recomend buying some of these shorts i will post some pics of mine cause there SWEET thx Ground and Pound

Yes, please post some pixs, but they look kind of cheesey if you ask me and a bit on the pricey side as well

They have the same manufacturer as Nogi, but the color schemes aren't as good.

That's the best they have IMO. Aside from the other yellow and black pair the rest are kind of derivative of Tap Out and the red Sprawls Flexfighters.

I have the Alpine camo my camera isnt working to well i dropped it at the fights but i took some on the disposable camera but the quality isnt good....The Alpine camo ones are NICE and the ones my friend has are SOLID BLACK they dont even have other pairs on there, they said there will be some new, I really dont like anyones but the ones we have......I will have to take some pics of his on thursday cause we train that day but all in all I like em ALOT

I agree. I like the Ground and Pound name but wish their shirts were a little more low key.

is it just me.. or do these look EXACTLY like Nogi's except for the color schemes and logos?... i'd rather get nogi's:icon_chee

you couldnt pay me to wear those for a fight.

Well i guess im the only one who likes em' and BTW a real fighter would fight in anything and wouldnt worry about style but thats just me I DUNNO but frankly i dont care who likes em i just suggested em cause they were great shorts to me, and EVEN BETTER than my TAPOUT MATT HUGHES, thats alot to say,

This guy must work for Ground and Pound, he sounds just like the guy who tried to sell me some at the last WEC i went to. "These are the best shorts on the market! better than Sprawl and Tapout!" "Look at how much they stretch"

THen when he went to stretch them they didnt stretch at all. I tugged on a pair and they didnt stretch at all either. These shorts are nothing more than swimshorts with a internal drawstring. If you are going to drop money on some fight shorts these should be at the bottom of your list. If you want Camo go with either Tapout or Hitman, GNP shorts are nothing special.

If they work on the design that would be cool, cause they have a great Company Name!!!

what exactly makes them better than your matt hughes signature tapout shorts?

The white ones are nice. I would not consider $40 to be particularly cheap though.

u should look into Nogi @ www.nogi.com

like one of the above posters said.. they use the same manufacturer, and therefore are exactly the same shorts material-wise... only the designs and color schemes are WAYYYY better.. those ground and pound logos just make me cringe

and yes.. they do stretch as well..:icon_chee

Lotta peeps like the white ones. They just need to work on shirt styles ect. People seem to like the Ground and Pound name, it also has some sexual connotations. I fought a man in Reno just to watch him die.
