Rosa is huge, hard to believe he can go down to LW.
Let's GO LANDO . Dhalsim gonna get that lanky ass spanked
Do Bronx is on fkng fire. He ain't no gatekeeper anymore. The kid is subbing the entire LW division with ease.
Also Elbowed the shite out of Teymurs face for good measure
Hoping for a good fight and I won't be shy I want that W.
Same here bruv. No more hoping. We want that W and InShallah we gonna get that shit. Dhalsim for fks sake LMAO
This unknown guys are scary.. what if this dude is the Jon Jones, Style Bender of the LW division (talking about psychical attributes) this lanky long strikes that get you from afar.
He doesn't have the best record.. not exactly young prospect age.. but he for sure had a training camp with Anderson on this one, that should count for something at least.
tbh Groovy might be the underdog here...the size difference is real.
What gets me several of his opponents are listed at FW did this dude make 145 ? if so does he didn't eat for a month to make that cut, I should think he is a WW for his frame okay guess a skinny LW but no way a FW.
I also think Lando has been bulking up since he doesn't wanna go in the lower division decided to eat up and work that cardio more.
We gonna see that Groovy wrestling and chokes on display @gono btw
Nice! Your shoops are on display throughout this whole thread brother (look for the BWR water mark) Including those 3 emojiz... This is a great addition. Bet that took some tweeking getting the guy he kicked to pass in front of the shooped head. Great work!!
I'd like to chime in on this question as it seems that is Marcus' weakest area. It doesn't seem that difficult to get him down if you get a clinch & trip... or a deep double leg & pick him up... & then once he's on his back it's not that hard to mount him.... so that would be a good strategy.
Of course Groovy's stand up game is what we all love seeing though.... so I'd much rather watch him do that. Maybe hit a TD at the last 30 seconds of each round just in case the judges are needed.
– Marcos vs Alan Francis 10/21/17 (Marcos is the taller guy)
· Looks like A.Silva when talking & standing… & moves in that style on his feet
· Standing he seems flowing & smooth, but waiting to counter… not a lot of action. Pretty slow telegraphed leg kicks but he feints the kicks sometimes as well so that's good.
· Was not very good off his back (mostly just tries to hold on & tie the guy up) & got mounted fairly easily in this & another of his fights I watched. (vs. Cicero Coutinho) He did get one reversal though while Francis was going for an arm bar, but otherwise that seems to be his weakness.
Once on top & in Francis' guard, he wasn't very effective & didn't seem to even try to advance to half guard or side control.
What a fight fan you are.
How bout that Greg Hardy ehh??
To be fair... those other people who we're not ganging up on are giving their opinions about Lando.
You actually called out The Legion of Groove directly.
Lol at you playing the victim... you also called our threads "circle jerks" in another response, & then turn around & wonder why everyone's calling out poor you...
We're just having fun buddeh... let us bang bro
They call him Groovy because he needs to get in his Groove. When switched on, he can compete with any one. If he were brought up like Zabit, given some cans to crush, I think these forums would think of him differently, but he definitely beat Bobby Green, who is a great litmus test for getting top talent and has some great performances. His past two fights were a bit of a let down but I know he was dealing with personal issues and a JacksonWink falling out. He is still very young, and people that overlook him just do not know shit about fighting and only ride coat tails of the flavor of the week.
How about Bobby Green and all the guys he beat? How about Makdessi? How about Tony Ferguson, who would have been stopped by other referees? Lando hit a slump, much like Hunto did, but he is the very definition of UFC level, puts on a fight of the year nearly every time out, comes kill or be killed and has some of the most exciting grappling and striking in the UFC. Additionally, he is incredibly young, got fed to the wolves as a baby and in the deepest division in the history of MMA.
What is there not to like? Or, is Stalkingsquid the type of fan that likes point fighters that hug and hump all night?
