Its easy for everyone to just hate on hardy.

So I'm gonna do it too. I think he shouldn't be in the ufc. But they will try to feed him cans as best they can. Sooner or later he will get exposed if he doesn't cheap shot another guy first

That the Cowboys thought he was too much of a headcase to deal with tells you everything you need to know.

He was getting merked by Crowder. The illegal knee was him looking for a way out. Yet still the UFC puts him on the main card and hands him a gimme fight with a bum who was cut from the UFC after losing all of his fights. What the hell?

The UFC didn't set him up with this opponent if they didn't expect him to win.

NFL reject and woman beater getting a hard push by the UFC. Sounds about right for a bush league organization.

He will probably maul the next guy. Dude seems to have a good attitude, like him or not.
Power alone can make him top15 soon.

Hardy's notorious for having a really shitty attitude about being a pro athlete. Not saying attitudes can't change though. What are you seeing that makes you think he has a good attitude?

Just the couple of comments I've seen from him where he speaks about his last loss. Seems like he truly has that desire to be better, hates losing, not really making excuses, says that losers can't talk, points out his weaknesses from his previous fights, those sort of things.
Maybe you are right about the "pro athlete" angle, but as far as just fighter's angle, I think he is saying the right things. And I certainly think he has the speed, power and athleticism to cause some problems even though he is green. That is, if he continues to evolve.

If you're right then he's got an opportunity here, but he's got to get better and he's got to not do any crazy shit like kneeing grounded opponents. Right now he's probably got as good name recognition than anyone in the UFC.

Regardless of what happens, I don't see him having a long career in the UFC. His regional record doesn't mean anything. How many times have you seen a unbeaten ko artist get washed in the UFC? I've lost count.
