i got a free 44pk of Animal Pak today from a buddy of mine and he and everyone else i know seems to swear by it. I currently take greens+ and eat pretty clean, so i was wondering, do you guys think this is overkill. I know this one was free but the next one won't be and i'm concerned more about wasting my money on a multi that i don't need. thoughts?

Sorry for my stupidity, I'm not big on supps besides fish oil. What exactly is animal pak?

I hated the Animal Pak.

Greens+ and a regular multi is fine.

cool, thanx guys. i'm doing with the garden of life living multi. besides, i always wondered why they called it a pak and i opened one and saw that there's like 11 pills in it to take a day. fuck that. i've still got 43 paks if anyone wants it

Yeah, and it's TWO packs per serving. WTH. Like I need to be downing 22 pills. And they don't even give you a breakdown per pill.

Hugely over-rated.

I thouroughly enjoyed seeing the caps floating in the toilet after a gut wrenching animal pak induced shit. And I agree, a breakdown of each pill would be nice.

Coach used to recommend Animal pack. I bought them on his recommendation and use them only when I have an extreme workout day planned.

I love animal pack. One pack a day non lifting, two packs a day lifting days. Aminos, digestive enzymes, etc etc. Hell if you don't want it send it to me lol. Every client I have ever had has used animal pack. As for being over rated. Well there is a reason most top pros in BB and olympic athletes take it.

If you guys want a breakdown of each pill, I can contact Gary or Alex at Universals corporate office and find out.

I take animal pak and greens+. I only take one pak a day though. Also, if you search around online it's on par with just about every quality multi as far as price goes.

Interesting flip side opinions, guys.

The breakdown would have been nice in hindsight, just merely out of interest. I still think it's huge overkill for a multi. Honestly, are the aminos and digestive enzymes essential? Especially if one has optimal vegetable and fruit intake, supplemental protein, and BCAAs covered? Not at all, IMO.
Perhaps they include digestive enzymes just so you don't shit out whole pills. :icon_chee

sometimes I think that you were never meant to use supplements

yeah, that's what i was thinking too which is why i even asked. My diet is in order. 4500cals/day, broccoli and spinach with every meal, protein intake is on target (egg whites, tuna, lean chicken, steak, whey, and casein before bed), the majority (if not all) of my carbs from whole grains and fresh fruit, me and oats are best friends, nothing but water, except surge while i'm working out, i pop some BCAAs during lifting sessions. supplementing creatine, nitrix, no-xplode, fish oil, and greens+. My diet is shit hot right now if i do say so myself and at 190lbs i don't think i need all that animal pak shit., thanks for the feedback guys.
