Greatest mma fight of all time?

Me personally, I love Machida-Shogun I. It was so technical, both guys fought masterfully, it was stylistically an excellent match up between a karate master and muay thai master.

I was so happy when Shogun won the rematch but I little let down that it ended so early.

I mean, it's obviously subjective, but whenever I hear this question my mind automatically goes to Shogun vs Henderson I. There's a lot of others that I wouldn't disagree with at all.

Silva vs Sonnen 1

Had the most hype and the biggest come from behind win in the final moments

Griffin/Bonnar TUF finale. It's probably the fight that had the greatest impact on the sport.

^Yeah, it's really hard to not say Shogun vs Henderson.
I've never been so animated during a fight. I like both fighters.
It was exciting to see the elite Strikeforce fighters finally make their debuts
And Henderson vs Shogun just seemed like one of those "duh" fights.
Like a fight that you would've expected to have happened already.

I really felt like I was watching a PRIDE fight. I think I even mentioned it to
a friend. I didn't care who won in the end. I felt like my bloodthirst as an MMA fan
was finally completely satiated. I felt like I was in a fight, myself.
Seeing those two champions just test themselves to the fullest extent.
Not shying away from any shots; not missing any opportunity to do damage...
It was everything I wanted out of a fight. It'll be hard to ever top it for me.

Runner ups: Baby Nog vs Shogun, Diamond vs Jung, Minotauro vs Randy
Smooth vs Pettis & Dillashaw vs Barao (based on perfomance & heart)

"He stood in there with great heart; like a champion should." - Henderson
in the post fight interview after his victory, on Shogun.

It gave me chills. Maybe even a tear.

Shogun vs Machida was truly a one of a kind fight. It was the modern style vs style fight that made it so interesting. One of my faves was also the Nog vs Couture fight! Two legends of the sport going at it!

Its kinda hard to just pick one, I'm gonna go with Hughes vs Penn 2.

Jung/Porier for all around MMA action

Aldo/Mendes 2 for the seemingly highest level of competition

Griffin/Bonnar 1 for sheer determination
