Well Henry Armstrong could be argued as the GOAT, they tend to go 1 and 2 by most

Heavyweight - That's hard, Joe Louis probably... but Ali and Lewis are right there in the mix.

Cruiserweight - Evander Holyfield and or Bob Foster.

    Light-Heavyweight - Archie Moore.

    Super-Middleweight - Joe Calzaghe.

Middleweight - Sugar Ray Robinson, maybe Marvin Hagler (if he wasn't robbed in the Leonard fight).

    Welterweight - Sugar Ray Robinson

Junior Welterweights - Aaron Pryor (but i also like Kostya Tszyu).

Light-weight - easy one, Roberto Duran.

    Super-featherweight - Alexis Arguello.

    Featherweight - Willie Pep.

    Super-bantamweight - Erik Morales.

    Bantamweight - Ruben Olivares.

    Flyweight - Jimmy Wide

    Minimumweight - Ricardo Lopez

How is Louis better than Ali or Holmes? They had much better competition (bigger and more skilled) than Louis.
Sometimes it seems that the people who are saying Joe Louis or Jack Johnson are only saying it because any idiot on the street would say Ali (or Tyson).

So who on Ali or Holmes list of opponents was better than Ezzard Charles, Rocky Marciano, Billy Conn, Joe Walcott, John Henry Lewis, and Max Schmelling.

Joe Frazier is my all time favorite fighter, but he was not better than Ezzard Charles.. Neither was Liston.. neither was Foreman.

But you have to agree that Frazier would KILL Charles if they meet on the ring.

No I don't.. Jersey Joe Walcott was an amazing fighter with really great power and Charles competed well with him. Frazier might beat Charles, but it would definitely be a competitive bout. Also, Charles split Rocky Marciano's nose in half. He was small for a heavy, but he would definitely be able to hold a spot near the top of the "golden age of heavies" imo

Charles was a masterfull boxer with great skill and speed.

But that's not the kind of fighter that gives Frazier trouble.

Frazier had everything to be the greatest HW of all time after beating Ali, if wasn't for a young man that would later became a sucessfull grill seller. :D
