This election is terrible either way. I feel like if we choose Hillary, the NATO/Russia situation will escalate. If we choose Trump that would cool down but we'd start shit elsewhere.

Which one are we better off with in this respect?

Trump is unstable, impulsive and takes everything super personally. I would say that the odds are low that he'd get us into a nuclear war, but they'd be way higher than they've ever been.

Correction, the global environment in which America must compete is the same. The strategies for dealing with global realities by Trump and Clinton differ in most ways, though both are interventionists who want SA and Israel to run the middle east with our blessing. They differ domestically in many ways as well. Read their policy proposals.

The question of whether there is a greater chance of nuclear war under one or the other is hard to tackle, because a lot of subtle and unpredictable factors can increase tensions and move us toward war. However, of the two, only one of them openly supports nuclear proliferation, and that is Trump, so by default he is more likely to see a nuclear war. But neither is averse to nukes; both of them give me concern.

Exactly what I mean, he wants to talk with the russians whereas Hillary wants to have a no-fly zone in Syria and possibly fuck shit up in the Baltics with NATO. Leading me to the conclusion that Trump would start shit elsewhere, but Hillary might start shit in those two areas.

I would actually say Hillary would be much more willing to okay a nuclear strike than Trump would. Trump would be concerned about how it would appear in press while Hillary would be a cold robot and provide the key and codes.
