Just finished watching it. Fantastic movie

The trailer sucks, but there's blu ray quality copies of this movie out now

It's about Ethan Hawke's character named Finnegan who belongs to an organization of international assassins. One day, he was given a mission to assassinate a man named Lustig, played by Academy Award winner Robert DeNiro. Upon learning that his target is an innocent family man through the scope of his rifle, Finnegan decides it was morally wrong to kill Lustig and his family. His mission changed from killing Lustig to protecting him and his family from his former employers. He then falls in love with Lustig's daughter, Estella, played by Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow. The organization sends a team of assassins to kill Finnegan and complete the mission he sword to uphold. Among the assassins is a young Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

It was a great movie. Probably the best movie adaptation of a classic ever.

I had great expectations for it but was a little disappointed.

Also why tf does its trailers all use Millers Crossing's theme?

I’m not entirely sure, but I don’t believe Charles Dickens ever wrote a story about a group of international assassins. Not positive though. I wasn’t an English major.

the 1946 version was great, didn't like and don't like most remakes of classic films, they usually fuck them up somehow. As far as assasins? I don't remember that shit at all but the movie was crap so I don't care.

i prefer South Park’s adaptation. It is somewhat truer to the author’s intent.
