....Has anybody gained weight from working graveyard shift?
No. But I have from eating.
Dont eat breakfast when you get home before hitting the bed and you'll be fine.
Oh and work out.
I only dig up corpses.
how is that even possibe? do you eat the corpses or something?
Exercise and high protein/ low carb meals while working will do the trick. And I get off work at 7 am so I make it a point to eat nothing after 4 am.
I lost weight when I worked nights. I was never really hungry.
Damn.My cravings went into overdrive and I ate damn near everything.
Eat less, exercise more.
I lost weight on a third shift job. I wonder if it was the hours or the slaughter house I was working in that zapped my appetite?
Watch what you eat. It's really not that hard.
Stope eating so much and stop blaming your weight gain on the time you work.
i worked night shift for over 15 years, when on a 7pm-7am shift i would not eat anything after 2am.
when i got home i would eat only something small like a apple/muesli bar and then go to sleep. this worked well for 10+ years and only stopped working when i got lazy.
It's probably not uncommon for a new schedule to throw off your eating and you'll get fat .solid advice in here tho.
yeah.I used to work days, eat almost whatev and still keep my weight under.
Yes, I have the same problem. I have no solutions.
Like hell it'sn't hard.
Are you bringing your own lunch to work? The food options available at 3 am aren't usually very good.
I ate fast food about 4-5 times a week, if I can keep a diet anyone can.
My guess is its hard to get more exercise in or any exercise when working a graveyard shift.
