I am in general careless about English, as it isn't my first language, but why has no one pointed out to Dana White that it is "I could not care less"?

He has said for years "I could care less"
Kind of weird as it is the opposite of the point he is trying to make

this is a bit of a weird phrase thing, in general, with USA. They DO tend to say "I could care less". I have always wondered quite why that is....as everywhere else I hear that phrase it is "I couldn't care less".

So it's not so much Dana as a USA peculiarity.
