The guy that called me said they are going to be making changes as they go along to see what works and what does not.....advantages is one thing they are trying to change. The guy is from Relson School.....

Opps looks like knee bar and slicers are out as well.

Look out for the Mouth smoother!

Kneebars out? No way!

Bicep slicers should be gone. worthless in self defense and dangerous in competition.

The scoring is not so different. I thought they would take a Budo Challenge approach... giving fixed points for evolving positions and more points for near-submissions and attemptiong submissions.

I did not find any info regarding the pulling guard issue which I thought should have been covered as well.

Im getting sick of the exess of rules, slicers, and knee bars gone??? wtf has our sport become???? FUCK THAT (with all the respect) the rules aren't even divide by belt or skill (amateur or professional in the no-gi event) but by age...

Its really annoying, God forbids bjj becoming olimpic, we will end up in some kind of wrestling with one single type of submission.... and most submissions will be lost in time, since they are all forgiving.. hell, my gym doesnt allow guillotines because the cbjje dont allow them, then we dont train them anymore, I bitch about that all the time but I cant do shit about....

same thing will happen sooner or later with all these techniques that are being banned. At black belt level, all techniques should be allow, if you are a black belt, you should know when to tap or how to get out of dangerous positions...

No guillotine chokes.....not even in sparring...WTF...forget sport.....they should be teaching it because it is an easy and effective technique for the streets.

I was rolling with a purple and he was going to a knee bar but held back because it is illegal for purple un IBJJF rules.

I just told him to go ahead on me.

We are not going to wait until Brown belt to start experimenting with knee bars.

ARTICLE 17 - MATCH RESULTS
Opponent B applies the guard or half-guard to Opponent A and blatantly holds both sleeves for more than 10 seconds and or traps the upper body in an attempt to delay the match without attempting a submission or sweep.

That one fuckin sucks... 10 seconds? What if i need to catch my breath for a moment? If the guy is on top, its his job to pass and/or submit. Mine is to submit, and/or sweep.

So, no heel hooks, wrist locks, kneebars, slicers, yet suplexing someone on their neck, and cervical neck cranks are cool?

What... The... Fuck...

I understand for GI, you might not want heel hooks, or slicers, but come one! NOGI you should beable to do everything, as long as you are in an advanced division.

It is going to make the matches fast pace for sure.......I like it.....you won't be seeing 50/50 guard stalling for sure.
