I will be moving to the Murrieta area very soon and was wondering if anyone here trains at Gracie Barra in Temecula. Any feed back on the jiu jitsu classes, no-gi, and muay thai instruction?

    thank you

Carlson Gracie Temecula! Joao Assis and Jr. instruct BJJ, has a judo instructor as well.

I have heard good things about the head jiu jitsu instructor, but what about the muay thai instructor? I heard there is a judo coach, but do not see a judo class offered.

I don't know anything about either schools but I would JUMP at the chance to train under Carlson Gracie Jr.

Carlson Gracie Temecula. I recently relocated to Murrieta and after checking out the schools in the area decided Carlson's was the best fit. Like has been stated, Joao Assis (who is on a tear; just beat Xande and subbed Monson) and Carlson Jr. instructing. Assis is the main instructor but Jr. comes down all the time. He's coming back in mid-September and staying for about a month. Adult and children Judo classes are Mondays and Wednesdays.

I used to train with Joao Assis, his nickname was "the monster".
When you roll with him you'll know why.

Not only is Joao a beast on the mats, he's also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
