gracie barra chicago

I think I am finally set on this school but wanted to know a few things first.

I have heard good things about this school but wanted to hear from people on this forum, so how are the grappling classes for this school, and the nogi grappling?
also how is that self defense class thing, from the website it looked like a mcdojo sort of class (not saying it is)

finally how are the kickboxing classes

i would love to hear the opinions of you guys bc I am pretty set on this school but just wanted some final opinions

I always heard Gracie Barra Chicago is great. Thats where I would have originally gone, but its a little too far for me to travel. Where in Chicago are you?

i train with miguel torres in northwest indiana.. never been down to carlson's school, but i've met a few of the guys from there. i doubt anybody here is going to be able to comment on that exact school.. i'll ask at class if anybody i train with knows a lot about how they run things downtown.

are you talking about Eddie R. Gracie Barra?
If so try them out, Blake Bowman goes there some and says it is very good, plus they are Barra blackbelts
